There are two ways to manage multiple websites with The Geekpoint. You can either host them within a single shared hosting account or utilize an Agency Hosting account, which allows you to separate the websites into individual cPanel accounts.
On shared hosting:
cPanel offers two options for adding additional domains: parked domains (aliases) and addon domains.

Parked domains enable you to add extra domains to your control panel as aliases of your main domain. For example, if you have both a .com and a .net domain that should point to the same website, you can add the additional domain as a parked domain. To avoid duplicate content issues with search engines like Google, it is recommended to set up domain redirection. Most software automatically handles this, but you can manage redirection by clicking “Manage Redirection” after adding the parked domain.

Addon domains allow you to point additional domains to specific folders outside the default public_html directory. By default, your main domain runs from the public_html folder. With addon domains, you can run websites from folders such as public_html/newdomain or just newdomain. Here’s an example of how both scenarios can be set up using the “Addon Domains” tab:

If you have a large number of websites to manage and if they are functionally independent, we strongly recommend using an Agency Hosting account (reseller hosting) as an alternative to addon domains. The primary drawback of cPanel addon domains is that all websites run under the same user on the server, which means that all website files are accessible within one account. Therefore, any security vulnerabilities found on one site could potentially impact others as well. Additionally, all websites will share the resources of that one account, whereas separate cPanel accounts provide more abundant resources to each individual website.
On Agency Hosting:
With Agency Hosting, you have access to the Web Hosting Manager (WHM) interface, which empowers you to create multiple independent cPanel accounts.

Using the “List Accounts” function, you can view and log in to each cPanel account. To log in, simply click the orange “CP” button. Moreover, you have the flexibility to modify the number of parked or addon domains allowed for each account, as well as other allocated resources, by clicking the “+” sign next to the account.
